| Godmommies and daddies... Do any of you have godmommies or daddies for your babies? Does it mean (to you) that if anything happens to you, the godparents will take care of your baby? Just wondering... |

| I never thought of that! I don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to my & my bf. My parents love them, but they live in a condo and can't have pets. My brother isn't exactly a dog lover. Gosh - I better figure somehting out just in case!

| Next of Kin This is an important thread...please make plans for your Yorkie if anything happens to you. As a breeder I will take any of my Yorkies back or anyone elses and find a good home. Whispersmom does the same thing. I had to rescue one of my males after his owner died and her son "inherited' him along with the house. He was turned out into the back yard to live under the car. |

True. Maybe I should leave a comment in my will that says: Should anything happen to me - please go to YorkieTalk.com, they'll know what to do with my dogs!

| It wouls be sad that all of your friends would be gone, but I wouldn't mind getting all of those dogs!! In all honesty, I think I will mention this site to my family and friends. Not to be morbid or anything, but should something happen I know that people on here would scoop up my pups in a minute & love them. I don't think I would have eternal peace if I thought my dogs would end up at a shelter or something. I am cringing at the thought.

| It's in my contract also that the yorks have to come back to me if anything should happen to the owners, or if they choose to give them up. I've pictured the "knee-deep" in Yorkies thing too! LOL |

| I'm 20, but I guess I should have a plan too!!! That's so scary to think about. However, Baby does have a godmother, my best friend Hannah, but she would not assume any responisibilites if anything happened to me; she is too busy with school. I know that my mom would take Baby in a heartbeat. |

| I know Rio will stay home with my boyfriend but Mignon will go to her Godmommy Tara. She is a little princess and her daddy wouldn't know what to do with her. Crossing all my fingers and toes that nothing will happen tho!!! |

| I never even thought about this....I really need to talk to my sister just to confirm that she would take my Tini....I am sure she would, but it will be nice to know that I had the conversation. I have been thinking I need to do a living will etc ever since the Terri Schivo case was in the spotlight. I just keep putting it off. I guess I would put who gets Tini in there too. I wonder if my bf would want to take her...never thought about that. Hmmmm
