| this makes me sad :( ok...i'm not trying to be judgmental or anything...but there is a house down the street from us where they have 2 pit bull mixes tied to the same dog house ALL THE TIME. I have seen animal control over there MANY times. when I look as i drive by, more often than not, i see that their 5 gallon bucket that their water is supposed to be in is usually tipped over. well...it breaks my heart. i feel so bad for these dogs. and then...this morning...i see the lady in the front yard with a yorkie puppy...CUTE little baby. i just wanted to cry. i hope this puppy has a better life than the other 2 dogs that are chained up all the time. and I hope those other 2 dogs don't ever get ahold of this pup. they don't have a fenced yard...and i am always seeing stray dogs in their yard. i just fear the worst. i hope i am wrong.

| I hope the women has the common sense not to do the say thing with the yorkie. Unfortuneatly it doesn't sound like she has a lot of common sense.

| Things like that make me sooo sad too!! And frustrated that you can't do anything and can't say anything. Maybe animal control will finally take away the other dogs and they can have good homes. I pray for the little Yorkies safety

| maybe you can reach out to her. Let her know about yt and thru that help educate her about proper care of all the 4-legged creatures at her house! Sometimes its better to kill people with kindness

| Wow!!! Yucky situation. I think you should see if you can be friends with her. Maybe get Maggie and her puppy together. That would give you a chance to give her some advice! Very sad.......

| YOu might try breaking the ice with a little gift basket for the new puppy and the bigger dogs, some treats and toys, etc. Let her know that you are there if she has any questions on caring for a Yorkie pup It is so horrible to think about those poor dogs being chained all the time

| I'm not sure about doing that, she may see your yorkie and Maggie may become a target of theft. If you were to reach out to her, and she doesn't know you have a yorkie tell her you are "experienced" with this breed and are williing to help. Also if you want to go the extra 100 miles contact a rescue org for pitbulls, if you have one in your area and kindly ask the lady if she is willing to relinquish them. Overall it sounds like she is "over" the pitbulls and moved on to another dog, kinda like a trend. |

Donating Yorkie Yakker | Me too I would be upset too! i think the sdvice to try to be friends is good--would help her new dog to have you on his side, the other two also. |

| This happens so often. People buy Pit bulls to use instead of buying a security system. Any breed of dog that is tied up will become aggressive because they know if anything comes at them, they cannot get away. I'm all for helping people but I think you should just call rescue and see what they can do about the pit bulls. Everyone means well I'm sure but this whole situation can end up turning on you but you are there and know better so what ever you can do, you know best. Good Luck but do be careful.
