| Puppies running amuck! I have five puppies that are almost 5 weeks old. They have started running around and are beginning to come out of their cage. I leave the door open for mommy. They chase and terrify their father. He tries to smell them, but when they turn around, he jumps back. Then they run towards him and he races away and runs all over the room. It is so funny! Tonight they keep climbing out of bed and crying at the door. Finally, I've locked mom in to quiet them down. I think the next few weeks are going to be frantic!

| It has been loads of fun! They are so cuddly and sweet. I hardly get anything done besides kissing and playing with them.

| That's the truth. Tonight I put little hair bands around their necks, they look a little like clowns. My hubby just rolls his eyes. Lucky for me, he loves them too. Otherwise, he might start complaining that puppies are all I get done every day. But they NEED me!

| Now I'm afraid to walk, or even put my feet down! They can walk under the couches and chairs without ducking. Two get stuck in corners and cry, so I am constantly on the rescue. Quatro is the brave one, he chases Bronx everywhere. He is terrified He even found his way into Bronx cage today, I was a little worried, but Bronx is still too scared to care. He just layed by the door looking in all sad.

| pups Do you have a safe play area for them? A big pup play pen or gated area? It helps the new owners if they are used to being confined at certain times of the day and night..helps with potty training and keeps them safe. We have had a few posts lately from buyers saying the breeder is letting the pups go at 6 weeks..now you know why! LOL Since I keep mine at least 12 weeks I have play areas in the house so I am not sick of them...I know, I know, it is hard to believe anyone can get sick of Yorkie babies, but believe me you can get tired of pooping, peeing furballs if they are loose in your house. |

| Thanks Pat! You give such great advice. They do have a cage in our front living room! I have 2 teenage boys, one with a size 14 foot. They are just too much fun running around peeing everywhere (only their first day of venturing out). I put them all safely back in their cage and clean all their pee-pee - shove in mom to shut them up and go to bed! I guess that will be my next problem, when mom wont go in! I love you guys! you have helped me so much with the babies, I wish you were all here to play with them and me!

I love them all so much right now! I want to keep them all; my current, but not firm, plan. I keep trying to tell myself 7 baths, 7 to brush , pee all over the floor. We have tile floors, very slippery when wet. Well, I have 7 more weeks to play with them before I have to decide. It is terrible. People talk to me about taking them, then I start ignoring them. I have a friend in the computer business. He wants to build me a computer for a girl (a good deal for both of us, I might add.) I just keep thinking - who could I give him, Robyn - no; Trina - no. So I stopped answering his email.

| Boy oh boy do I know that feeling. I only have 3, but they do the same thing. THey chase mommy EVERWHERE trying to pick on her. She doesnt like it lol. They sleep in the living room now, wherever they want to, since they dont stay in their whelping box anymore. I guess that's ok since they are 7 weeks old. Good luck! You have your hands full!
