| Puppy Health Insurance???? Does anyone have any health insurance for their baby? I am just thinking that since Rocky can't seem to stay out of trouble (VALIUM, for instance ) Maybe I should check into it! We have already spent tons of money at the vet for the pills and when he had parvo. It is definitely worth whatever it costs to keep him healthy, but if I could save a little, that would be fantastic! I am hoping that someone out there can give me a little more info on what it covers and if it is worth the cost. Thanks, in advance! |

| http://www.petinsurance.com/ We have the VPI insurance. They have different plans. It depends on what you want to spend and what you want to cover. |

| We got our babies health insurance.. We got our babies, both 10 months old now,pet health insurance from Veterinary Pet Insurance ( Premium Health Plan)for $17.00 each and are effective since last 6th of this month. We just want to feel secure that we would be able to give them the necessary treatment that they would need in times of emergencies...because we're not sure if we would always have extra money handy when those times come. |

| Hello YorkieUSA! How long have you had the insurance? We just purchased it and it was recommended by my sister. She's satisfied with it so we decided to get it too but other than that we really don't have a lot of experiences with it. But I read the details in the policy and it seems to be a good one...hopefully...so do you have any feedback about it? |

And we are glad to know that your Mom got you insurance from the same pet insurance company. Hope to see you this weekend at the Barrington Park! |

| I'm very pleased with VPI. They do what they say they'll do. Now isn't that a novelty in today's world? |

| Is pet insurance like people health insurance- either pay a deductible or a set amount for each office visit? My cousins have it for their mastiff and recommeneded it, but I just don't know if it will be cost-effective. What if you only need an office visit and shots each year? Is it still worth it? I've also heard pet insurance won't cover anything common to the breed, like liver shunt or LP for yorkies? Is this true? |

| I have VPI..for emergencies...I think I pay less then 20.00 a month but I didn't take the vaccination coverage..because at that point Maximus had already had all of his shots so it didn't seem cost effective to me...BUT I feel much better knowing if an emergency came up I have some help
