Worried about my Roxy... Roxy's acting really lethargic today... And that bothers me. The stress from her flight made her stop eating. We've spent the last two weeks force feeding her with a little syringe and using a dropper for pedialyte. Everyone in my family has been pitching in to make her better. I know pups can get stressed out and go south, but she was getting a lot better, and now today she's just sleeping a lot. I've had her to the vet 4 times in the past 2 weeks... Actually, our regular vet 3 times and a specialist once. They say it's not liver shunt or anything, she's just stressed! Maybe I'm just being psycho mommy.

How scary! Are you giving her Nutristat or Nutrical? That always helps Rocky feel better when he is low on energy!

| We have little puppies, 4 weeks old. They are starting to run around, and I find one day they are very active, and the next they sleep all day. Be patient and make sure she is eating and drinking. Nutrical is a winner in my book. I am giving a tiny bit to the puppies, too. They love it.

Hang in there! Im so sorry to hear that the last two weeks have been so stressful and worrisome Maybe If you keep her in (open) crate in your bedroom away from visitors and noise, Tv's & stereo's etc.. maybe some soft music just so she will be use to the everyday noise, put a blanket with your scent on it along with a toy along with her food and water and maybe she will come out when she is not feeling so frightened. Maybe there are two many people handling her? She sounds like she is not handling being away from her mamma and to much excitement good luck and please let us know how she is doing?

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. We have been giving her nutrical... and she did have a rather alert day yesterday. I put a call into my vet and she is calling us back later tonight to find out what's up.

Well, now she's limping a little bit, and still sleeping. Whenever I pick her up to see if I can get her to walk (to see if she's limping or just walking funny) and she just plops back down. We have an emergency vial of dextrose... I think we might give her some.

My mom just gave her some dextrose and she's still konked out. You guys, I'm freaking. My vet needs to call NOW! We're cooking some hamburgers tonight. Maybe the smell will make her perk up.
