| sleeping in a kennel Taz is 8 months and sleeps in his kennel at night and spends some time in in when we have to be gone for a few hours. He does not like going in it, but once I put him in he stops whining in a few minutes and is fine. Sometimes he will wake up and whine a little at night, but then goes back to sleep. He had the small plastic kennel. He is about 5 lbs and fits fine in it, but I was wondering if he would maybe like it better if it was larger with more room to move and stretch out in with a cushion inside. Just blankets now. He does not have any accidents in his kennel, but if I get a larger one, do you think that maybe he would start having accidents in it? That is my only worry. |

| the kennel should be big enough for them to turn around in. If you do get a bigger one they will more than likely have some accidents. I have a 22' one from Petsmart, and its starting to get a little small for Aubrey, but he can still go in it, but not really turn around, but he doesn't go in it that much. ANd I got one for Dakota and she has room to do flips its soo big. |

| If he's 8 months and not going in his kennel I'd let him have a little bigger one. Don't give away your old one in case you need it again.
