Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Three days with Sweet Georgia! I didn't post much in detail recently because this lil pup has stolen all my time! She is such a good girl! I was having second thoughts when I bought her, because I wondered if I should have gotten a puppy. But this is sooooooo much better then I could ever have imagined. She sleeps in her pin, no crying. She does not make much noise at all. She is just darling. We met the whole family and she is very friendly with everyone. My two year old neice just adores her!!!! She does not nip or anything. There are definitely some things I have to adjust to. ONE, first and formostly (sp? is that a word haha) is why is it people at petsmart just run up to your cart and touch your dog. THEY NEVER did this with my Rottie..hahaha...so that is weird for me!!! Second, The breath! SHESSH MANEESH! You guys should have warned me! I am going to use a dropper to give her some doggie breathspray. We go to the vet this Wednesday and I will talk about tooth care. |

| Congratulations on your new pup! I'm sure you will enjoy her. Just a note on the breath issue -- usually a young dog should not have bad breath -- have the vet check her teeth, as she may have some baby teeth that are going bad and have not dropped out. I don't know how old she is, so it's hard to say for sure, but my vet told me their baby teeth should be gone at around 5 months. Mine held on to his until 7 months and I noticed that his sweet puppy breath was really stinky. The vet pulled the teeth when he was neutered and his breath to this day is like a baby's (he's a year and 9 months).

| Congratulations on your new pup. It's really important to brush their teeth especially with a double set. Petzlife is a really good tootpaste, but I'm sure your vet will give you one to use when you talk with him/her about it.
