| It's not harder it's just a matter of your dogs getting jealous. You have to give them extra loving if you bring a new pup in, so they don't feel left out. It will take them time to having a new one around.

| Thanks My husband said if we do get another dog he wants a big dog. He wants a dobeerman. I want another yorkie. He does not know if he will hav time to walk a dobe like he needs to . I worry about a big dog with my yorkies. This still up in the air. He said last night maybe we should just have 2 only. I do want another even if it is a dobe |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have 3 and the main problem is trying to walk 3 at a time by myself. I can't seem to do it.

| That was the biggest mistake i made. I should have waited it out. Every time the big guy would go by the tiny one he would yelp now I know mostly from fear. I know that becauses sometimes he does that now if he thinks you might step on him and you havent even touched him.Well every time he yelp benji would gang up on zip the tiny one then both would be cornering him and I got scared for him. Then he started to lift his leg and pee on my walls why I dont know. He would come in from out side and do it. any ways I wish I kept him I know LOT MORE NOW. |

| I have 3 dogs, 2 full size collies and 1 yorkie. We have had Ollie (the oldest collie) for 8 years and rescued Jimmy 3 years ago. We introduced the collies to each other at a nearby park so that Ollie didn't try to protect his territory.....this worked very well, no fights, no problems. When I got Fergie last year we did the same thing, introduced them away from the house. Fergie gets along with the big dogs VERY well, they play so well together. I think Fergie thinks she is a collie. The lady that I "adopted" Fergie from was very relunctant to let me have her, she was scared the big collie's would hurt her. I am so glad I was able to convince her to let me have Fergie, she has completed my pet family!

| Ive had dobermans in the past and babysat one all the time, they were very sweet dogs. I dont know how they do with small dogs tho, hopefully, someone on here will be able to tell you.

| When I do finally get me a big dog it will be a dobie with my yorkies but like a lot of people will tell you make sure you buy from a reputable breeder so you'll know the dobie puppy will be well socialized. I see no problems with big dogs and little dogs being together as long as they are all properly socialized. JMHO Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
