Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ~~~BuYinG A yOrkIe @ 8 MoNthS!!!~~~ Hi everyone! I am going to be picking up my yorkie on Friday morning. I took the day off so that I could have a long weekend with her. I am super excited! I know I could have bought one younger but I am confident with being selective and what can I say it was love at first sight! Anyone have any stories about their dogs at 8 months old? Words of advice? Also, she has a darker coat. I know she is not a mix, her pedigree is flawless. It just happens for some reason she has a darker black coat. I read that she could grow out of this but I would prefer her not to. Does anyone else have a dog that was black on the back at 8 months and it changed? Thanks for welcoming me to the group!!! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | She is the avatar Yes she is...here is another picture of her with a full coat that her breeder sent me. I read on this forum that sometimes it changes at age 3. Part of the reason that I am getting her at 8 months is that all puppies sort of look the same...and it seems to be a gamble what they would grow up to look like. I mean you could look at her parents. I understand. But I actually like the darker color as well. So I am hoping she will keep it. It is part of what makes me like her look. So I really hope it doesnt change...but its all a gamble... haha |
