My puppy piddles when she's excited...... Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone else has this little problem w/their Yorkie. Bella is now 6 months (as of last Saturday) and whenever someone comes in to greet her, even if they don't show too much enthusiasm......she piddles.....A LOT. I know that when she does this, she's not aware of it, or at least that's what I've read, however, does this go away? Thanks! Tara

Tara but I think I would get her some panties, also I think I saw The Dog Whisper (Cesar Milan) about a maltese that had that problem and he told the owner of the dog that have their friend don't make a big deal at her untill she come down, so sorry I wish I could help you more

This was a topic on "It's me or the Dog". It was a larger dog if I remember correctly, and would pee everytime the husband came home. I think she made him ignore the dog on his way into the house and when he was settled in to then acknowledge her. That episode aired a while ago, so I could be wrong on the training.

Thank you everyone for your replies!! I'm going to continue looking for an answer on this. Believe it or not, I tried ignoring her (SO hard b/c she's so cute) when I come home, but even that doesn't work. I'll keep you posted if I find anything! Thanks again,

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | My Molly does her "excitement pee" when she's happy, which is ALL the time LOL Especially when she see's Jacob my cat. But she'll do it when she see's one of the other babies when she hasn't seen them for a few minutes. she's just way too happy! I just follow behind with a mop LOL |

Do they ever out grow this?? I don't mind cleaning her up and the area where she does her excitement piddle, but people mind if it's in their house, or even worse, ON them.......
