| top knot Will it do any harm to put a pup's hair by putting it up when it's not very long? I'm so impatient for Bella's hair to grow long enough to really be able to work it. I also want her to be used to wearing it that way so that she won't bother trying to knock out the bands/bows. She has really fine hair on the top of her head tho and I worry that I might be hurting it by trying to work with it. When should I expect her hair to grow enough to do something with it? Also, i'm putting a pic of her up here, can anyone tell me what type of coat they think she might have?

| She's really cute! I started putting Lacy's hair in a bow when i got her at 10weeks. Bows will break the hair some though. But I haven't noticed any major damage

| She's very cute! I wouldn't think it would hurt to put topknots in now but you could use a little emu or almond ail and I think it would protect it a little more as I have heard some people say they had a lot of breakage in that area. I don't leave them in Zoe for extended periods of time just for that reason, I also use the terry cloth scrunchies and they don't damage her hair at all. As for what kind of hair she has, I have a hard time with that so won't be much help but when she's a little older when you take a photo if her eye flash is green then she should be silky and if her eyeflash is amber/orange, she should be cottony. Not sure if it works every time but sounds like most time that holds true. You can do a search and find a ton of threads on here about it but the pups have to be a certain age, I think. |

| What a cutie. The sooner they get use to it the better.
