| Boobah goes to the Vet on Boobah goes to the vet on October 5th, the office attendant told me to bring her in at 9am and the operation would be at 11am Poor thing, she is barely 7 months old and is scheduled to be spayed. I forgot to ask the girl if she was to be picked up that day or I was to pick her up the following day. Anyway the girl said the "cost" would be $170.00. Does this seem high to anybody? Please give me some feedback. I was referred to this vet by the breeder who I bought her from. What should I expect when boobah gets home? I mean, will she still be rambunctious after she gets better, or is she going to slow down a bit? Any help with these questions would be helpful. rontiss1

| If the vet feels she is not totally out of the anesthesia by pick up time, they may want to keep her overnight. The cost doesn't seem too bad, considering the visit, boarding, and the actual spay. Boobah may be a little grogy that day and the following day, maybe some pain (ask for pain killers), but should be back to normal within a week. |

| I would say the price is fair. The most important thing is to make sure there is someone availible from your vets office to answer all your questions day or night, especially post op. Make sure that you get pain meds for her and give them to her as prescribed And don't worry your dog will be slow going for the first few days, but then look out! prayers for a speedy recovery! |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I think it is a very good price. Bella did not stay the night I dropped her off at 8am and picked her up at 6pm she was very groggy but did well. Good luck Boobah!
