Where do you get the play pens? I posted on the training site about inheriting my sons 10 month old Yorkie who is not potty trained. I love her to death, but cant have her peeing everywhere. I received some good suggestions, but noticed several people used play pens. My question is are these regular baby play pens or do they have special dog ones? I do have a metal crate but cant stand the thought of leaving her in it all day when I work plus I think it is too big for her (probably about 3ft high and wide). My other option is leaving her in the gated kitchen which is fine and gives her more room, but I find she just pees on the floor in there which seems to defeat the purpose. Also anyone know where to find the zip in beds that I have heard about? Laura

You can look online at Petsmart.com. They call them Pet Yard. They run about $60 for 8 pieces of a plastic pen for pets. They come apart & you can use 2 for a doorway & 4 for a pen. I use it at home instead of a crate. Put a couple blakies in there with water & toys.

Hi rnruns50. There was a thread not too long ago about playpens, here's the link: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...hlight=playpen I hope that worked! Anyway, there's a picture of the playpen we use for Jo, several other members have them too...they're great! I'm not sure what beds you're talking about so I can't help there. Good luck with your new baby!

Jo Jo, the playyard you use, would it keep little babies in, say 3 weeks, just starting to walk? And does Jo ever try to climb it? That's my worry with a free standing fence, is that they will try to climb it and get hurt.

| playpen I have a 10 wk old puppy and I use the plastic Super X play yard...it can be set up in 4 sections for a square..or 6 for an octagon.....We love it.... So great to place Sophie in when I can't watch her- They have these at Walmart's , Toys R Us, and I was lazy and ordered mine off Amazon.com...it was on sale...$58.... I don't know what I'd do without it!
