| new puppy questions!!!! i just got my puppy yesterday. he's 11 weeks old. my question is.. i havent really heard him bark yet... when do they start? i heard him trying to make some noise today when he was playing.. when do puppies start barking? |

| I've seen them start as early as 4 weeks, earlier if you call those little sounds 'barks' when they are playing with their littermates. Be thankful he's not barking yet, once they start it's really hard to get them to stop.

| Give him tie. Mine is not much older than yours and he does not bark a lot. Sometimes when he plays or to sass me if I tell him no to something. Overall he is pretty quiet.
