Donating YT 14K Club Member | Today is the day... That Dukie...AKA...Bailey is going to his forever home! I am excited and anxious at the same time. It has been a joy having Bailey here. He is so sweet and so smart! He comes when you call him, has figured things out at 9 weeks that Dallas still hasn't figured out at 1 year. Bailey is 12 weeks old today and flies out at 11:30 this morning. I've got to run to PetSmart this morning to pick up some nutrical for him just in case he needs it on the flight. He's never had one episode of hypo...actually, NONE of my dogs have so I don't keep it on hand. Keep your fingers crossed that he has a good flight and does well. He sleeps in his carrier at night (I leave the door open) so that he'll get use to it. I'll try not to cry today...but I know that I'm going to miss him. Jackie is going to be an AWESOME mom to him and I know she'll spoil him rotten!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Thanks everyone for the good wishes. My stomach is twisted up in knots...and it's not from anything I've eaten. This is the first time I've ever shipped.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well, through tear filled eyes, I said my goodbyes to Bailey this morning. Here is are a couple of pics that I snapped while we were waiting for the airport computer system to come up... 1) Still at the house 2) "Momma, why am I in here?" This was taken at the airport 3) "YUM! Momma gave me some kibble and Cheereos!" Also at the airport. He has made it to Florida! I talked to Jackie and they've got lots of pictures taken but have computer problems so I'm sure she'll have to wait until Monday to post them. When they got there to pick him up, he was just laying in his crate just hanging out! Her dogs, Tinker and Cash, both love him...yeah, it's because they probably haven't figured out what he is yet! LOL Thanks for letting me share this with all of you. YT is the best!
