| It's kind of like a dog purse/carrier with a strap that goes over your shoulder in the $140 price range. They have reviews on Amazon that are fairly good.

| I found a place that has them for $105 so I was wondering if it worth it. I will check out amazon for the reviews. I have wanted one for a long time but not sure if Joey will like or use it.

| Not sure if Gidget would stay in it but my concern is the weight it would put on my shoulder for any length of time. That would be something for me to consider before I purchased one. |

| I have two. A winter one that is enclosed and a summer onemthat 8# more ventilated. Cali loves them, probably because it means she gets to stay with me. Get the bottom pad is your order one. My Cali is only 4# and it is very comfortable to carry her.

| Each one is rated for the size of the dog that it can hold. The one I linked to holds dogs up to 11 pounds, so it should hold Joey and would definitely hold Bella. The reviewers warn people NOT to get one that is too large, because the dog can't stick its head out and the top pinches closed, cutting off air circulation. You should check with the site you are considering purchasing from and ask them which size would be the most appropriate for Joey. Better to be safe than sorry!

Standard holds up to 11 pound dog. Here is a critical review of the Standard size: "I bought the "standard" size as my dog is 11 pounds. However, it is huge for her. She can not put her head out of the slit opening easily.... Fundle does have a new style that is all mesh for "summer" which I suggest you look at if you are thinking of getting this. The standard is much larger than I thought it would be. I think you need to take in consideration the height and length of your dog when looking at getting one of these, and if your dog is "strong" enough to handle putting its head out; and don't bother with the cover." Most of the reviews of the Standard size are glowing, and there is even a review by someone with a dog that had luxating patella surgery. It was perfect for carrying the dog after the surgery: "I have a toy poodle (8 lbs) who had extensive surgery on both rear legs for a condition called luxating patellas. I was told she'd need to stay confined for a minimum of 6 weeks while her knees healed. I knew I couldn't carry her in my arms continually while home, so I purchased the Fundle to use in my 2 story home. It arrived the day before surgery on April 30. She is very finicky, but didn't object to the sling. After our poodle came home, I have used the sling continually both inside the home & while running errands. She BEGS me to put her in the Fundle & carry her! It's so portable & the padded cushion headrest is perfect. As the brochure says, "Your pet will jump right into it. " Even after our dog is healed, I know I will continue to use the Fundle on outings! It's worth every penny! It's an absolutely amazing product!" If you can find one in a store that you can see up close and in person, you might want to bring Joey along for a test drive.

| The original company is selling most Fundle models for $100, as well as all of the accessories (blankets, cushions, inserts for cold weather, etc.): DOG&CAT FUNDLE - Fundle Petsling I believe that they ship from overseas, though, so it could take some time before they arrive.
