| Anyone's yorkie growl and bark at the vacuum sweeper So funny! Even if I just touch the vacuum Hallee goes crazy barking and growling at it. Hubby touched it and she nipped at his ankle. For some reason she just does not like it. Gracie on the other hand could care less about it. Anyone's yorkie do this too.

| No, no barking. Juju isn't crazy about the noise but Betty flies out of there like a bat! It figures that the big one is scared of it and the little one not so much!

| sawyer is terrified of the sweeper. he shakes like he is going to faint. My husband takes him out so I can run the sweeper; it is the only thing he is afraid of.

YT 500 Club Member | Sophie ATTACTS it. She acts like it is something she needs to shake to death. She barks and grabs whatever she can get hold of and shakes. Growls too. I have to lock her in a different room if I am cleaning because she won't give up.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | My babies HATE the vacuum!!! They take off running clear out of the room when I drag that thing out! They are SCARED TO DEATH of it I don't know WHY - I guess just because it's loud...it has never hurt them, lol. They are just big 'ol babies

| Max and Abbie are afraid of it but they don't bark at it--just run away from it. Max is funny, though--he seems to be a bit curious so he'll slowly creep toward it, but then jump back about 5 ft and run away. This cycle goes on the entire time I vacuum. I used to think that the size of it was a factor. Since yorkies are so much smaller than vacuum cleaners, it would seem logical that they would be scared of the size but I saw my brother's 90 lb boxer's reaction to the vacuum for the first time when I was dog sitting a few weeks ago. He's the most gentle, laid back, non-barking dog that I have ever met but when that vacuum cleaner was brought out and turned on, he lunged at it, kept barking and tried biting on it . I was afraid that I was going to hurt him! I wonder if they feel a vibration when the vacuum is turned on and that along with the noise makes them freak out...

| Miko and Kylie are afraid of it, they usually hide when I bring it out. Prissie and Might could care less, sometimes they will stand in front of it when I'm using it and I literally have to move them out of the way. However, Max will attack it, he barks at it, bites it and paws at it. However Miko and Max both bark at the lawnmower when my husband is using it. Miko will chase my husband and bite at his ankles. Which is funny, cause he's afraid of the vacuum but not the mower, which makes much more noise. Go figure? |

| Harley growled at the vacuum once and then I vacuumed him. It ended there. He had a mohawk and didn't like it very much. Now he just gets up on the couch and turns his back to it. lol

| Gracie just looks at it and then runs to another part of the house to get away from it. My Himalayan cat, Sonney, hisses and spits at it. All I have to do is bring it out and that sets him off! Too funny.

| LOL. The babies, Beamer and Rainbow could care less about it. They just hop up on the sofa and watch. But Ladybug attacks it big time. She bites at it and actually picks up the front of it at times. And she has taught Sunnie to bark at it as well, but he isn't so agressive about it. When I get the vacuum out, she and Sunnie come running and stand in attack mode waiting for me to turn it on. Once it is on, they attack. lol Sonya
