| Litter Training Hi, I'm new to the site and new to Yorkies. We are getting our first little Yorkie pup tomorrow. I've read up on litter training and I think that is the way to go for us since we live in the Chicagoland area and the winters can be brutal. However, we do have another dog who goes to the bathroom outside. My question is can a Yorkie be trained to go to the bathroom in more than one place? Like once he is litter trained in the house will he also know that it is ok to potty outside with the big dog, or if he were to go out it public with us will he be able to potty in the grass and not be confused when he gets back in the house?

| I think your thread got buried in a busy day! I hope you're doing okay with this by now. Both my dogs potty indoors on their pads and outdoors with no problem. I think they both actually prefer going outdoors, but the winters here can be bad. Let us know how it's working for you!
