| Help! I am going back to working! Hi everyone! Just wanted to get some feedback from everyone. I have been out of work since October and finally started looking for a job and will be starting back working full time....I have to pay the bills.... Anyway, I have only had Tini since I have not been working. I am worried that she is going to freak out without me here everyday. How do your Yorkies do while you are at work? Are they ok? Do they freak out and mess up the house or do they just sleep all day? Any recommendations for how to make the transistion easier? Thanks! Joanne |

| I don't work out of the house. But may be you should start getting Tini used to be with out you. What will the situation be while you are gone? Crate, safety gated area?

| When I am at work I think Esme mostly sleeps. I close the bedroom and bathroom doors and she has the rest of the house to roam while I am away. I leave the radio on and PLENTY of toys for her to play with. Your baby will be just fine! Mari

| I have three yorkies myself and they keep each other company. Though, I think they mostly sleep when I'm at work. I also have lots of toys and the radio on for them.

| My boyfriend just went back to work after being home for almost a year. We have only had the dogs since he has been out of work. The 1st week was tough (just because I felt so guilty!), but they did fine. I think they mostly slept all day, so just keep in mind that they might want to stay up a little later at night. Good luck at your new job!

| I recently started working a second job and I thought Ramsey would do the same to me. Well Everynight when I get home I show him extra special attention. He seems to still reconize me as mommy and my sister as his auntie. He is always excited when I get home. |

| When I work, her setup will be the same as when I go out etc....she will have full run of the living room, hallway and bathroom (where her pee pads are) and I will have my bedroom door closed and a gate blocking off the rest of the house. Usually when I am gone I think she sleeps, I am just worried she will freak out when I am gone for so long 5 days in a row. |

I've left her alone (4 hrs at a time) since I got her...so she got used to it really quickly. I come home on my lunch break to let her out...aka. change the bedding she just messed, and to give her her lunchtime snack. She has totally adjusted to our schedule and knows what day it is....Monday and Tuesday are Daddy's days off so he is home all day, Wednesday and Thursday Mommy and Daddy both work (but Mommy comes home for good at 5:00), Friday Mommy and Daddy both work longer shifts so nobody is home for good until 8:00, and on Saturday and Sunday Mommy is home all day. She doesn't fuss when I put her back in her crate after my lunch break b/c she knows that I'm not home for good. I'm sure that after a week or 2 your baby will be totally adjusted to her new schedule. | |
