| what to do what to do I feel so studpid. I let someone convience me that I was going to miss our dogs heat and that I needed to bring our dog down to them to be breed instead of waiting for our male to get interestd. Long story short. We have 3 beautiful girls that our now 7 weeks. My problem is that after I use her stud she began to tell me horrible horror stories and now I have to give this person one of my puppies. She pulled a foot off of a puppy during the whelping and the dam uterus was torn. The thought of this puppy going there is making me literally sick. any advice on a way around this. |

| Could you maybe offer her the dollar amount of a pup? Tell her you were maybe hoping to keep the pup?

| I'm confused, does she have your female or do you have her? Did she tear it off of one of your pups or her past litters? What do you mean by horror stories? Where are mama and babies right now? |

| It wasn't my female and yes I have her with me. It was one of her own dogs. I just have never heard of anyone pulling a foot off of a puppy when their dam was whelping. If that is something that can happen I want to know. Our vet said that she must have wait to long to take the dam to the vet. I love my little girls and I want them to go to good homes |

| If it were me and the woman was careless like that with her dogs, then chances are I would be seeing her in court.. If you have the mama and the puppies then I would take my chances and see if she sues you. I doubt she will because it will cost her money but she may threaten it. I would tell her the truth about you being concerned that she will not properly care for your pup.. I am convinced that she is going to just take your little girl and breed her until she can no longer do it and then get rid of her.. It's obvious that she dosn't care about her dogs enough.. Did you sign something? Even if you did, all you have to do is tell your side to the judge and let them make a decision.. but like I said, I seriously doubt that she will pay to take you to court.. Maybe I am to mean but that's how I would handle it... |

| if it came down to it and she did take you to court all I can possibly see you owing her (if the judge goes by what you said in the contract) is $400. Not 1200 like she is asking. You could get vet records of all the care you provided your female while pregnant and after whelping and take them with you to court (if she acctually takes you) and that could come off of the $400. Me personally, I wouldnt give her anything at all, even if she does threaten you. I wouldnt give her anything unless it was court ordered. Keep a record of all phone and email conservations you have with her, this could get ugly. She sounds really money hungery. Dont let your babies outside along AT all, even if they are in a fence. Theres no telling what she is capable of doing, people go crazy when they think they are owed money. Main thing is keep yourself and those precious babies and mama safe. She sounds like an awful person.

| Contract state if only one puppy survives I can purchase it at 400. other wise I owe her pic of litter since all this has started I have said I didnt feel comfortable with giving her a puppy I have an email from her that states she doesnt care which puppy she get but, she wants a puppy. You are right it is about the money more then that she was the pedigree from my female. I have learn so much through all of this. I will never trust anyone again. Unless I have talked to their vet first. I am going to try and get her vet records. if I do go to court my husband just want me to let her have and be done with it. If I give her the puppy with resricted paper can she still breed her? Does anyone know. I am so sorry I am so stupid. |

| If you give her limited registration, then she cannot register her AKC but she can register CKC because they don't care.. DID YOU SIGN A CONTRACT? or is this verbal... send her a nice email that says sorry, but we were robbed last night and all of the puppies were stolen..Here is the deal, I am married to a police officer and was raised by a criminal justice professor.. I have 2 rental properties and have had to take several people to small claims court for not paying rent.. I know exactly what they would do in my state and that is if you have a signed contract that states $400 for a boy or pick of the litter for a girl and you don't give her one, then the judge would order either you give her a boy the next time you breed any of your females, or you pay her $400.. If she did not state $1200 in her contract then she can kiss that money goodbye because it will not happen.. The judge would NEVER order you to pay over $400 so I would say that it is worth it.. She is obviously greedy so I don't see her paying the filing fee to take you to court... |

| I'm appalled and disgusted. I may not know much about breeding dogs, but how in the world could you pull a foot off of a puppy!!! and a torn Uterus??? I think most of us could agree on a collective "OW" on that one!!

| The main reason I don't place Gazou at public stud service is that there is always reasons for peoples to fight over what is right or wrong . When the puppies are born , there are always good reasons for the owner of the bitch to don't respect the contract . If I had a contract with someone and that someone offered me a pup with limited registration I would refuse it and sue this person for not respecting the contract .
