| Special food for pregnant Jessie ?? Is it necessary to give xtra special food for pregnant Jessie(4pound). I am giving extra but she does not want to eat extra. Also does not want to drink the puppy luv milk that I bought. She is 5 weeks pregnant now and is a bit sleepy. Is that ok ? Her tummy is not showing yet ?? but the nipples are a bit swollen. When will she show ?? Dont know why I am so nervous with this pregnancy. Had some maltese and staffordshire terriers etc before, but this is so different??? You all seems so wise and up to date, I also just wanna to thank you all for all the input. Also wann find out .... my boy is 2yrs and 4 months now and this preggies girl is 1yr and 4 months. I battle with the house training still. My hubby is getting upset now. What can I do ? will it help to try and source the potty pads or/and puppy housebreaking drops that I am reading about on this website. Will have to try and see if it is available in South Africa. Never seen before. HELP Please !!!

| help Since she is small try not overfeed. Give her any quality puppy dry mixed with a bit of minced chicken or turkey. Give her a teaspoon or two of cottage cheese or yellow cheese a coupel times per week. It is quite difficult to have housetrained Yorkies when you breed them..use a belly band on your male and fix an area to leave them when you are out..a tiled area. |

| I give my female puppy food when she is pregnant to help produces milk and has lot more nutrient for her puppies. Try not to over feed as it will make her fat and lazy. Also her puppies will be too big for her to deliver. To potty train, confine them in a small area if using training pads. If not, let them go outside when they wake up and after they eat. Praise them when they go and keep doing it until they get the hint.
