| Their first boat ride! We've kind of avoided taking the boyz for a boat ride because of how sensitive Jo is in the car...yah...he pukes! Anyway, they love the boat dock and won't let us leave without them when we go sit there. So, tonight my husband says 'grab the boyz'...I leashed them up and off we went. I was a bit nervous for Jo but he didn't even get sick and they both loved it! They stood on the front seat looking out over the water with the wind in their faces like little hood ornaments...then they'd run to the back and stand on the upper shelf and watch the wake behind the boat. They watched the ducks and seagulls, other boats, guys on skiis and the wave runners and they had a blast! We were out for a half hour or 45 minutes...we just went around our basin...but tomorrow we'll take a longer ride with them. No, I didn't take any pictures...I know ...but with 2 nervous little dogs on leashes who were on a boat for the first time...well, I just didn't think I'd get a chance to take any pictures. I will next time though! They're both wiped out now! Now, with all of the rolling and pitching of a big boat why didn't he get sick like he does in a car? | sounds like you had a great time! I would think he didn't get sick in the boat because he could see everything. When he's in the car is he sitting on a seat? When my maltese was a pup he would get car sick all the time until I got him a car seat. It raised him up high enough so he could see out. Never got car sick again!

| They ride different ways in the car and truck but nothing seems to help Jo if he's not medicated. They never got sick in the golf cart either though so maybe it's the fresh air I'll be ordering a car seat for them before we take another trip so hopefully that will help him. I think maybe Jo is just a 'water baby' or something...my husband caught a fish the other night and Jo grabbed it's tail and tried to take off with it! Don't worry...my husband had a hold of the line and Jo wasn't anywhere near the hook. Riley just gave it a big kiss which surprised me to pieces because he's such a woos! He's writing a book...the title is 'Everything I learned about being a dog I learned from my big brother Jo'! |

| Oh, how cute. All 4 of mine go on the boat with us and do well. The yorkies both love the water. We take them to a little island where they can run and not escape. They get filthy but have a great time. There were actually 2 little yorkies on the island last weekend and they had a blast chasing each other around and rolling in the sand. It's always straight to the bathtub after boating but it's worth it because then they are all exhausted for hours. I'll have to take the camera with me this weekend. |

| I'm glad they enjoyed the boat. Now you have another way to have fun with your furbabies.

| How fun that you got those two out on the boat! It sounds like they had a blast! Now of course they will be begging to go out there every day! Yes, please be sure to take pictures next time!
