Deworming Question - please help! Lolo is 14 weeks old and about 1 pound. She had worms last week and the vet prescribed Panacur. I gave her the dose prescribed but I now see she is swollen again and rubbing her bottom again. Does anyone know how often I can give her Panacur. Is it ok to give it to her again eventhough I gave it to her last week? My vet is closed and she is so small that I hate to wait the entire night to give her the medicine. Thanks for any info or help!

You generally worm them every 2 weeks until they are 12 weeks and then once a month until they are 6 months, then as per the instructions. I would wait until you can speak to your vet, you don't want to overdose her.

I would call the vet and ask. too much on one so little could be fatal. You need to make sure that you are cleaning up her poop so she isn't getting reinfested from her own poop.
