| Hi my pixie has follicilitis and she itches like crazy when it gets warm, the vet gives her an antibiotic once a month and we have to wash her in a medicated shampoo about twice a week!!! Is there skin flaky or just itchy??

| Sometimes the cause is because they need Omega 3's & 6's in their diet....it's in Flaxseed Oil which can be put on their food, and they also sell Missing Link which is a powder to put in their food....

Also, a good shampoo can help. I would recommend Buddy Wash from Cloud Star. You can get it at www.cloudstar.com or I think someone else on YT has it on their website - I can't think of the website - it starts with bark Buddy Wash is made with herbs and natural ingredients. Botanical extracts. It's not like a lot of alcohol-based shampoos that can make a coat dry and irritated. It's actually very healing and moisturizing. Also, I would recommend the Buddy Splash for between baths - it has natural oils & herbs - and the biggest thing I love it gets out mats with ease and smells fantastic. I need to get a job with these folks - lol - I've told so many people about their products!
