| Update on Breeder Selling $100 puppy I called the breeder again. I decided to get references before making the long trip to visit her home tomorrow. She gave me several references and then said that she will have some questions to ask ME tomorrow. She is going to be checking me out, also. She said she wants to see how the puppies take to me, how they react to me, and whether or not I am the right owner for them. The fact that she is not willing to just let anyone buy her two inexpensive puppies and wants to check me out, too made me feel better. What do you think? A good sign? |

| the only thing that sounds fishy to me is the amount. i have never never seen a yorkie for for 100.00. make sure you find out the health of that puppy prior to making a commentment. please don't get scammed. i look forward to seeing what happens. i hope everything works out well for you. good luck

| Sound like a good sign. She should honor her contract to replace a dog if something happens to it. Just check it out.

| Well, that's what I'm wondering. They are not supposed to be mixes. According to her, they are purebred Yorkies. She wants to get them in a permanent home ASAP. I believe she has another litter coming up this fall. I will see them tomorrow. Is it possible to tell if they are a mix at this age (14-15 weeks)? |

| good sign, but nothing special and SERIOUS . i see more red flags: different breeds, too good to be true price. even puppy millers play games trying to show that they are good breeders. in previous topic I wrote some questions you should ask. sorry, but what you wrote here is nothing special. how puppy will react???!!!! i would believe her more if she ask you more specific questions like: who will take care of puppy? if you travel, who will be with puppy? if you move/get pregnant/whatever what are planning to do with puppy? do you have a fenced yard? if puppy make an accident, your reaction? why do you want this particular breed? are you planning to take this puppy to a training classes? Serious breeders ask those questions, but not "how puppy will react". scam to me |

again and again RED FLAGS - a reputable breeders don't try to get rid off puppies ASAP, they try to find a responsible owner - litter coming again.... here we go.. just wondering why do you STILL want to support a puppy miller? good price? too good to be true, is probably isn't.... hopefully, you will not pay more for that price.... | |

| btw, don't take references from her. go to google, type name of her kennel and make research. also type her name/name of the kennel with words complain" or something like that... call to agricultural department of your county for references and check if she has some complain records. |
