| Seperation anxiety: Mine I'm leaving for a trip soon and my good friends, a married couple with two sweet Golden Retrievers, will be keeping Archie for a week. I am totally anxiety-ridden over it -- not because I don't trust my friends -- they are two of the most responsible people I know and they love Archie -- I just dread being seperated from my little baby! He and the two other dogs get on well and my friends will watch closely to make sure he doesn't get smooshed by them (we spent a few days with the dogs together earlier this summer and it went well). These friends are honestly the only people I would trust Archie with for that period of time, but I just can't stop fretting over it. I left him last summer for a week while I was on a cruise at a kennel/daycare place and got good reports on him -- BUT -- he ended up with a case of kennel cough that took months to cure. I was fretting about him the whole time I was gone and couldn't wait to get him back in my arms! So this time, my wonderful friends offered to take him (free of charge, too), so that I could not worry about his health. I know I sound neurotic -- I know I'm going to cry all the way home in the car when I drop him off. Oh, let me shut up! Here's the object of my obsession:

| I completely understand.... I went back to work at the office today after taking a week off and was thinking about Lola the whole time and couldn't wait to get home! I couldn't imagine going days without her. I just try to remember that it is probably harder on me than her . I bet Archie will have the time of his life playing with your friends pups! |

| I definitely understand too. Lacy will be three next month and I just left her for the first time this past May for 5 days to go on a vacation. I left her with a good friend of mine that has a yorkie too. I cried for like an hour after I dropped her off and again later that night and I missed her the whole time I was gone. Then if my friend didn't answer her phone when I called to check up on her (I limited myself to one call a day) I worried that she wasn't answering because something was wrong..LOL..but she always called me back. Lacy was fine but gosh I missed her!

| He's adorable, and I can understand how you feel. I go to visit my daughter every other month for the weekend, and I'm sick till I get back home, and she's with my family.
