| New to yorkietalk! Hey everyone.. My names Steph.. I've been browsing this site for a while now and I finally decided to join!.. I've always wanted a yorkie or a biewer and now that my mom gave me the okay for a puppy I'm researching and going to start talking to breeders soon! |

| Thanks!.. I'm going to be a nervous wreck once I actually get a puppy though.. Just to prove it I got a few fish yesterday (something to keep me busy and have fun with since my sister left for college a few days ago) and I freaked everytime one went to the bottom of the tank or wouldn't eat.. Haha.. Now the only other obsticle that I have to overcome (other than finding a breeder) is to make my mom understand why she can't buy puppies from the pet store.. =[ |

| I told her about puppy mills her argument is that her fiance's brother and his family got three dogs from a petstores and they are all fine.. and that those puppies need homes too.. i agree with that but they should go to shelter for proper medical care and to have families picked out that will be good for the dog and the family too. |

| You should show your mom some of the videos and pictures of puppymills and let her read about them. Most people don't know how horrible those places are until the watch video footage of reporters in those places.
