Hair Bows Yea! Yea! I finally got a bow in her hair. Thank you so much for your help! I couldn't find the rubber bands you told me to get, but got another package by the hair bows etc. I put one rubber band in her top-knot, and then added a second one towards the top and put the bow in between them. She rubbed and rubbed and scooted on the floor and they didn't dislodge. It's so cute to finally see her with a bow in her hair for more than a couple seconds! Yea! Yea! Pat

The more she has the bow on, the more she'll get 'used' to it. Just make sure it's not too tight and pulling on her scalp...

:I am just so happy to get her to keep one on. Yesterday, I put the pink one on and her pink party dress and took pictures. I take the rubber bands and bow out every night and brush her hair again. Always in the morning, I spray her with a mixture of water and conditioner and then comb. Does the rubber bands ruin her hair in any way? It seems a shame to have to take them out every night, but I think one has to, right? Thanks for all the help! Pat

Mine never forgot lthe kbows were in her hair. She scootched and rubbed and nothing would distract her. The rubber bands, one next to head and one at the top on the pony tail, then I put the bow between them. The top rubber band keeps it in. I am hoping after a while she will forget about trying to get them out and I can dispense with the second rubber band. As to keep her still. It just took time. Keep treats broken uop so she doesn't get too many. Tell her she is good, and then give one and try to put it in. I always give a liver treat right after it is in and she is combed and eye washed out. She knows this, and is good now. NAILS? Now that's another thing. She won't stand still for one minute. I am afraid I could break her leg. We are going to try to towel her today and clip a bit land see what happens! PRAY! Pat

Maddie will were a bow, but Rudy must not think she looks cute with one. lol Give him a couple of minutes and he will be strutting his stuff, like saying look what I got. Thank God for Maddie I just use plastic barrettes or she would be bald from Rudy pulling them out. If I take them out he will leave her alone, but in the house there is no way. Rudy is all boy and I gave up along time ago about putting a top knot and bow on him. I think yorkies look adorable with bows in there hair, boys or girls...................Cindy

Well, I sewed the bow to the rubber band and put it on this morning. Didn't do a real good job, as the bow ended in upside down! Leave it to me. I'm sure I will get the hang of it. It's a great idea and I will continue to practice getting it in right! Toweled her to cut her nails yesterday. My husband held her while I did the nasty deed. She still fought like a tiger. My husband was breathing hard when we got through. Said he could not believe such a little thing could be so strong. Don't know what I am going to do with her in that respect. She pretty lets me do anything else, but bring out those clippers and ----- Cujo! Pat
