| The night before we brought Biscuit home we still hadn't named him. We were going out that night and while driving down the highway we saw a billboard advertising the movie 'Seabiscuit' (the famous race horse). I looked at my husband and said "What about Biscuit?" He agreed and a Biscuit was born. With Muffin we wanted to keep in the 'food' and 'pastery' theme so we named her 'Muffin'. When CoCo came to us her breeder mommy had named her 'Rocha'. We had thought about renaming her Cupcake but she didn't look like a 'Cupcake'. One of our granddaughters suggested naming her 'CoCo' because it kind of started like Rocha and was still in the food theme (cocoa).

| The breeder I got Mr. Biggs from was calling him Big Daddy. I thought it was so cute, since he was such a tiny boy. But I knew there was no way I was gonna go around yelling Big Daddy all the time. lol. So I came up with Mr. Biggs... not to be confused with Mr. Big from Sex in the City. lol. I knew I wanted him to have a big name, and I think I achieved just that. Plus, it's always good for a laugh when people ask what his name is and I say Mr. Biggs.

| Piper was already named when we adopted him, so we kept the name, and Penny was called penny, because when we went to see her I found a penny heads up, and figured it was good luck. Sure was, because I got her that day.

| I choose Gabe because of the archangel Gabriel in the bible who was HUGE and even though Gabe is tiny, he thinks he is HUGE as well. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Well I am a big New York Yankee fan and I will be naming my little guy Jeter because Derek Jeter is my Favorite player. I have been wanting a Yorkie for a very long time but we rented from a place that would not let you have pets. We moved into our own house last August 28 3 day's after we got the key's. My husband tells me in January that I could get a puppy. After working with a breeder since May we are hopping that we get a boy out of the litter that is due September 25. So Jeter should be ready to come home in December around the 16-23. He is sooo getting his own #2 Yankee jersey too! |

| I called my youngest yorkie Rubi because she was so precious and sweet that I thought the name of a precious stone would suit her just fine. |

| And by the way the yorkie in my avatar is not Rubi, her name is Gordita (little fat one in Spanish). Her kennel name is Zingara but they called her Gordita because she was quite chubby when little not because she was overfed but because she didn't get around much. |

| My previous three dogs were all C's Cindy, Candy and Chicco, so after they all passed on, we decided to get another yorkie,( I had one thirty years ago!) We called her CoCo Chanel and then three months later we got our little boy, didn't know what to call him as all boy names with C didn't suit him. One day he put his nose in my coffee cup and that was it - Coffee.

| before i got Caden, i was looking for a yorkie on puppyfind . com. most of them already are named by the breeder mom. so ... one day i was looking for a puppy and one was the cutest yorkie ever on that site and his name was Caydin. i loved (and still do) that name so much ! s0o ... i enjoy being unique, so i got a (different) puppy from brooklyn and named him Caden instead of Caydin. (i like unique spellings cause my name is Kelli not with a y or an ey) . and all my friends like that name, too!

| I used to live in England UK with my husband and there are always loads of sheep which I love, well I started to name the ones that lived around us and when I moved to the USA my brother in law sent me a stuff sheep for my B/Day for which I called Murphy. When I got my Little Yorkie I looked at him and knew right away that he should be named Murphy after the sheep I so loved. It fits him to a tee, because he is always getting into my stuff sheep collection and playing with them.
