| Has Anyone Heard Of BARKBUSTERS? My hubby and I went to the store today and saw this van with a ton of colorful graphics promoting Barkbusters (an Austrailian based in home dog training system). The van was so "memorable" that I came home and looked it up. The do have trainers in my area, so I wondered if anyone had ever heard of them before??? www.barkbusters.com We're going to enroll Coby in puppy kindergarten, and I was going to start getting recommendations. Their video sounds like it's somewhat in the vein of Cesar Milan type philosophy. They don't list their prices, but the training comes with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. The web site also has a quiz on rating your dog A-F. My older one is great but because he is getting more snarly, he got a C. And because Coby is still an over-excited puppy, he got a C also. I don't wanna have "average" dogs - lol

| I have never heard of them, but I took the quiz. Susanah got a D. It was better than I expected. I was expecting an F- or worse. I guess she could use some puppy kindergarten too.

| I emailed them when I first got Scruffles and if I recall, they quoted me a price of $500 or $600. |

| For the one session? Or for classes? I'm sure they would use their lifetime guarantee as leverage for that price. But it's pretty steep. Maybe I should let the boys get really out of control first to make it worth my money.

| This quote was for lifetime sessions. Supposedly they'll come to your house as much as you need. I didn't enroll Scruffles because it was just too expensive for me at the time. |

| Well, we'll have to see what my other options are before I pay that much. Luckily, I don't have any huge behavioral problems; more like just the normal ones. But I like the in-home idea as well as all the regression training forever.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Izzy scored a 50 which is a B but in my book more like a B-....hahahaha.....we just finished up Clicker training for puppies and now end of month going for Clicker II and then on to tricks and fun. My only challenge is with the potty training - and barking...but we'll work on that. I can't comment on the price....since I have nothing to compare it to but our first 6 week training session was $150 and then all others are 4 weeks at $95. If that helps.....

| Both my girls got "C" and Harley got a "D". But I noticed that some of the things that they make a dog down for are things that we love about our Yorkies. We love that they ask us to play, bring us a toy. We allow our babies on the furniture. All I know is that we have trained our dogs, so I guess I get a C and D!!

| I have an Australian friend with a boxer. She was having the worst time with her dog and called Bark Busters for a private consult. In two hours, the guy had the dog totally under control. They had to keep up with the things he taught them. She said that dog was going to a shelter if this didn't work. She swears by them. Says it was worth every penny. |

| Cody got a score of 48 which is a B Dogs in this category are typically wonderful family dogs with a few rough edges. This dog could easily move to the "A" grade with some training. |
