| My first yorkie had a silky coat and was wavy on his lower back down by his butt. Otis has a cotton coat and it's not wavy.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Most likely the type of hair they are born with. Cali is cottony and wavy and Pixie is silky and pin straight.

| Our Peanut has always had a bit of wave/curl - banana curl thing going on... I've had him checked out by people who know the breed much better than I do, and he is 100% pure Yorkie... so I'm glad we're not alone |

| Bentley's is REALLY wavy! unless you brush it..then it's straight for a few hours then starts to curl.

| mocha has wavy and straight hair. haha. i think she's going through that awkward phase where all her baby hair is coming out and her silky adult coat is coming in. so it's like half wavy half straight. drives me nuts sometimes when i'm trying to groom her, but i love it.

| Pipers is thick and wavy, and Penny's is straight and silky. Just depends on the dog.

| Ellie's hair has always been wavy and cottony. She doesn't have a part down the middle of her back either.
