| I've never been so worried in my life! She's done it again! Chewy ate something she wasnt supposed to but this time worse than ever. She got a hold of an anti-inflamatory cream (Clobetasol) and ate/smooshed all over the house about half of the tube. I dont know how much she actually ingested but she was acting very weak when my bf found her. This happened Wed morning at about 10 and when I found out about it at 1...I told him to give her a tbs of peroxide and call the vet. I just started a new job this week so i couldnt rush out of there like i wanted to. She threw up about 7 times and by the time i got home that night she had diarreah 3 or 4 times (all on her wee wee pad) He also gave her a peice of bread and water. That night she was very lethargic and didnt even sniff anything on her walk. And yesterday was not any better. She seems fine one minute and then refuses to get up or even get a new bully stick the next. This morning my bf is taking her to the vet at 9 30 for some blood work and a check up. The vet said to call poison control but i read up on it online and the only thing to do if the cream gets internally is to flush out with water. She has been drinking a lot lately and eating as usual but she is still very weak and doesnt really play or run at all. I dont know what else I can do. If anyone has any advice on what kinds of tests the vet should do or anything else I could do I would really appreciate it. Ive never been so upset....she looks so weak and sad all the time. What can I do? |

| I'm sure the vet will take good care of her, and I will be praying.

I've learned the hard way you can't leave ANYTHING around with these little ones...they get into EVERYTHING! I've had eye glasses chewed up (taken off of the table next to the couch) and when Sadie was a pup she chewed my Mom's hearing aid...THANK GOD! she didn't swallow the battery that was in it! I hope she is going to be ok....let us know!

| I'm really shocked your Vet didn't ask you to bring her in right away or at the very least given you the phone # for poison control. A quick search and this is what I found.... Clobetasol Top Overdose This medication may be harmful if swallowed. If swallowing or overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US National Poison Hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canada residents can call a provincial poison control center.

| I'm so sorry your baby has you so worried. I would literally go out of my mind. If all seems pretty normal now except for being weak, maybe some nutri-cal will help since she threw up so many times and had diarrhea.

| You have to be careful what you leave laying around, these guys can get to ANYTHING pretty much! haha I learned that the hard way myself when my boys were pups. I had a lot of scares and a lot of losses. Now I tell EVERYONE who steps into my house "If you are questioning if they can get it, then they can... so move it cuz it WILL be destroyed" LOL I hope your baby is ok!

| Praying that your baby feels better soon. Whenever I take my boys to my mom's house she has to "granddog proof" the house. She clears off the end tables and floor. I sure hope she's ok. Update us after the vet visit. Get well soon, Chewy!
