| Advice - Worried My puppy will be ready to pick up on June 26th but I sent the breeder a email telling her I will pick the puppy up on July 1st so that I will have a couple of days off to be at home with the puppy. I emailed her to confirm this with her and that was 2 days ago. I have tried to call a couple of times and no answer. I am getting a little scared now. I still owe a balanc on the puppy and that is due on pick up. Do you think I am jumping the gun and I should give it another day? Does anyone know anything about Fantasy Yorkies? I checked her out through bbb and came up with nothing. Please advise. I just want to put my mind at ease.

| I am sure everything is fine. I would just keep trying to call to make sure she is aware of your new arrangement. Good luck with your new puppy!

| Is there anyone here on YT who lives near there and could go by and check it out? We all love an excuse to see yorkie puppies. I had someone check out breeder in texas for me. It was a mamber that I met here. I don't know if you have ever heard of "puppy escrows" and it is too late now, but this may be the way to go in the future if you decide to get another yorkie or for anyone else who reads this post and hasn't gotten theirs yet. |

| I emailed this breeder last night, inquired about puppies. I got a response so she does read her email. Hope you heard from her too! Let us know. |

| She emailed me this morning saying the 1st of July would be fine. But call a few days before I leave. I am still a little uneasy about this. Remy's breeder gave me a lot of updates with him. This one I have to leave a bunch of emails. and when I call no one answers or she rushes me off the phone. I just want my puppy.

| I know. I want my puppy too. This waiting is sooooooo hard. Try not to worry. All breeders are different in their level of concern for the new parent(s) (and the puppy for that matter). I went to one breeder who overlaps half-hour appointments to see her puppies. Another sat with me for 2 hours discussing puppies and their needs. I am just glad my search is over, this is exhausting. How old will your pup be when you get her in July? |

| I'm in Missouri but I don't know where she is. I emailed a bunch of Yorkie breeders around my zip code on the 11th and she was one I contacted. She said she only has one female available so I think your baby is safe. Sylvia I went to her site and saw that she does have some little male available. I was asking about her prices and a large female. I guess she misunderstood what I was asking or I didn't ask right although I wasn't looking for a little boy for right now. | This is were it gets weird. "Hi, The puppies were born May 12, so they are over 2 weeks old. They are staying very small, so they will be teacup size. We do not ship due to concern about the safty for the puppy." " Kim, She would be ready about June 26. This is an etimate based on her size now. She would be 10 weeks by then. I like for them to be about 1 lb 12 oz before leaving or 12 weeks old. Shirley" Now I know I might not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen but I do know that is not 10 weeks thats 6 weeks! I didn't get Remy until he was 16 weeks! Now you see what I mean when I say I'm worried.

| Her math and her composition skills confuse me. Yes, I can understand your concern. Have you seen this pup...held her...fallen in love? I think if I were in your position I would call her this weekend and find out exact date of birth, weight etc. The good news is you are making me feel GREAT about my pup's breeder. J/K I had a bad "breeder" week too, not sure when I will get my puppy. This waiting is making me nuts. |

| I would be skeptical, too. Maybe you can try bringing that math issue to her attention and see how she gets herself out of it to see if she makes up any kooky stories. Ask her more questions about the puppies when or if you get the chance to speak to her. Good luck getting in contact and please let us know whats up! |

| Now wait a minute! I am fairly intellegent, but I do that all the time. I am sure the baby was born on April 12 - or something like that. I could be wrong, but like I say, I am really bad about being off a month, a week. My kids call it brain fart. (I don't necessarily like the term.) Try to think the best and just check it out. Everyone in this world is not bad!
