im trying to upload pics for my profile pic and its not working!! what does an incorrect file extension mean??

Big or small, they are a very special breed . . . . and yes breeders do take advantage of people like you who knows nothing much about this breed other than they are the most precious looking munchkins

Your little angel will definitely be past the 10 pound weight

Are you trying to upload from another website or from a file saved on your computer?

If you don't have your heart set on a tiny pup, then just love him no matter how big he gets. It's really hard to say, but I think he'll probably be bigger than any 12 lbs, too, if he's already 7 lbs. If you go ahead and get him, just love him and he'll love you back for a good 15 yrs or more.

Hi! Welcome to YT! My Dunks weighed about 5 lbs when he was 5 months old.. He is now 14 lbs... He's a year old. I think your dog has some growing up to do still... He's only 4 months old... Still a baby - which means he's still going to grow...

The breeder where we got Dunks from said that he's going to be about 10 lbs... he ended up being 14 lbs and I love him just the same , if not as much if he was a smaller Yorkie... It's really the Yorkies personality that I love! Dunks is my 1st Yorkie and I don't think I'll ever get a different kind of breed of dog again! =) I am hooked!

Good luck with your puppy! Yorkies are such great dogs!

Perhaps the breeder meant that he will weigh that much. Yorkies are great all sizes.

Well that is one cute little guy!! Congratulations.

He will definitely get larger, but just how large is anyone's guess. The charts give you an idea. According to the charts, mine should have been around 6 1/2 to 7 pounds --- but they both were around 5 1/2 pounds at 6 months and now at 1 year old are still around 5 1/2 pounds. They didn't get any larger after they were neutered. Although mine both weigh the same within an ounce or so, Willie looks smaller since he has shorter legs and body.

You'll love it here and can get lots of advice and information. Good luck with your new pup --- he is absolutely adorable.
