| My baby almost got killed!! This morning I got up unlocked the back door and my babies go out and then back in thru doggie door as they please (during the day) and only if we're home, anyways this time my teen kids were in bed and I thought let me go to mcdonald and get B-fast for them , then when I was picking up the food I got a call from home , and I got this weird feeling ...my daughter said that the next door lady brought my "winky" home saying that he was out in the front, and that she checked for "Miley" but she was no where so I raced back home and got winky on a leash and started walking and calling Miley, I was almost by the end of the block when my daughter started yelling and running towards me , as we get closer I saw her crying ...my heart started pounding , then she said that the people next door said that she got hit by a car on her head and when they got close to her to help , she got up and run away. my mind was crazy with images of her in a bad shape I took my daughter home and told her that I was going back to look for her , I needed to find her and was thinking the worse but still my baby needed to come home with us, I went looking towards the direction she had run , thru bushes and long grass and calling her and looking for blood ..but no blood signs; then I heard a little cry when I was passing by this house that my kids call the "Jungle House" as they have plants every where in the front yard , you just can see thru , so I went in there and there was my Miley inside a animal trap that these people have in the middle of the "jungle" BUT I was soooo happy to see that My Miley was fine , she didn't have any injuries at all , thank god! she only had a little scrape by her mouth but nothing else, I took her to the vet just to make sure and the vet said that probably she was the one that hit the car and then maybe went under the car and it did seem for others that she got run over and with all of the loud crying but probably she just got scared! As to why they got out was because there was a cat between the fences and they got crazy chasing it , but for now on the doggie door gets closed. |

what ever happen , I'm thankful from the bottom of my heart. I always hated those trap cages this people have but now I think about it and believe if that cage wasn't there probably my "Miley" being scared as she was, would have run away and put herself in more danger. Thank you guys for your kind words...I'm still shaking from this and needless to say we didn't ate the McDonald's B-fast and we still not in a mood for lunch. | |
