| Humping the stuffed cat!!!! Please help me understand what is going on. I purchased Gizmo when he was 7 months old from a breeder in NY. Now, he is 1 yr and 1 month. We have a stuffed kitty cat plush toy. And Gizmo is humping the animal. I am wondering if this woman has possibly bred him before I purchased him? I know animals are animals but, it is soooo hard to see your baby grow up and do big boy things. Is this something that he could have done before or is it about time for him to be doing this?

| 7 mos? If he's not neutered he sounds a little late. Also, if he's not neutered it could be a domination thing, trying to show he's the alpha male of the house. If he's neutered my vet said that just because he's neutered doesn't mean he doesn't get the urge. |

| Memphis was fixed when her was 6 months and he still humps. I talked to my vet and he said that some boys just do that. SO I gave him his very own teddy bear that we call Humpy D. Bear. Humpy Bear for short. Heck for awhile there humpy d bear was getting more action then me. LOL |

| I would just place the kitty in a more discreet location. I am sure it is just instinct, he could not have been bred much earlier than this. If he does this to people, say 'no'

| Yoda humped at a few months of age, and still does it to this day. We think it makes him happy so we let him do it. His stuffed kitty of course. |

| I completely sympathize. Oscar is 7mo. and has just discovered his winkie. He has a big plush yellow elephant that he plays with-it's as big as him. Well, two days ago I caught him going to town with it. Now he carries it all over the house with him and humps away!!!! How can I argue with love. As far as he's concerned, he has a girlfriend....I'm still trying to think of a proper name for the poor elephant... |

| Anyone ever have a female that humped? My Sophie use to all the time, the vet thought it was funny, she started right after she was fixed, thought she might have gotten confused! Windy and Lida Rose |

| I was wondering since the dog is humping the stuff cat. Is this considered as sleeping with the enemy? |
