| wierd question... ?? this might be long..lol well, Frankie had an almost almost "wart" looking thing on his "area" so I took him to the vet & he said that is was puss from his neutering..? So he popped it & Frankie didnt make a peep & then gave him an antibiotic. So a few days later... there was ANOTHER one. So I called the vet back & made abother appointment. I asked them to explain it to me better & she told me that its from his nuetering & that his body wasn't taking the stitches.. they put in dissolvable stitches.. and that sometimes that happens. She went to pop it and he cried & whimpered the whole time... and they had 2 people in there pinning him down (it was horrible & i almost cried!) She told me to wait it out & if it doesnt go away then they are going to have to start back at square one, & take those stitches out & put new ones in. well- I am attaching pics of what it looks like- & I dont understand how it could be a bubble of puss? bc wouldnt it look like a blister & NOT a wart? and also- he is 8 months old now & he got neutered when he was 6 months.. so it was about 2 months ago...why would they be comming now? ANY IDEAS?!!? please help! 1 pic- i know its not a good pic- but that is up very close 2 pic- they are right in the middle...

| Oh the poor wee thing When I had Toto neutered he had something similar , so what I did is old fashioned but it works, brew some tea , regular tea with tannen not herbal) you have the tea and squeese out the bag and place it on his sore spot and in a day or so the poision will be drawn out. Do this a few times a day. Make sure the tea bag is not too hot just warm. Hold it on while he reclines on his back on your lap. Distract him by rubbing his tummy. Mine likes his tum rubbed. |

| I've heard of using the tea too, but they don't look like they have puss in them. I might go ask another vet.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would get a second opinion. Did the vet give you an antibiotic? Hope he gets better soon

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I see some "yellow", so I do think of pus. Pustules can look a little different depending on where they are. Did it *look* like pus when they popped it? So, are they trying to tell you that the stitches aren't absorbing properly, do I have that right? If so, keep a close eye for infection. But, they should be absorbed by now. If this doesn't go away, I would request, at their expense, that they xray the area just to be sure that nothing was left inside of him (don't freak out about this last statement, it's just sort of a last resort if it never improves).
