| Trmming Hair Around Eyes??? I have a grooming question...I have had Coco who is five months groomed twice, both times they have trimmed the hairs that grows into his eyes. I want the hair on his face to grow long, should I just let him tough it out with the hair in his eyes and it will eventually grow out or should I continue to have this trimmed but leave the rest of his face to grow??? Thanks! |

| Duke has the hair near his eyes trimmed also, but the rest of the hair on his face is long. I tried to let the hair near his eyes grow out, but it seemed to bother Duke because he kept rubbing his paws on eyes, so I decided to have his groomer continue to trim it.

I use a little personal trimmer - I posted these pics before ...but will again so you can see different tools to use if you do it yourself...OR if you go to a groomer - just tell them whether you WANT to keep that hair or trim it - but it's always good to be specific.... the one of Chanel is just to show you where I like to trim - it doesn't mean everyone should trim like this - but it does look much neater... | |

| Thanks! I would love it if Coco's hair would grow as long as Chanel's! She is beautiful. |

| I was told NOT to cut the hair by their eyes. I did once and it was worse when it grew back out. So now I use a hair sticky creme made by Plush Puppy to keep Mignons down. You can use just vaseline too.It is a pain but it WILL grow |

| Shalom I leave Chloe's hair around the eyes alone, and pull it up into a ponytail on the top of her head, like Chanel. However, it is hard to keep her eyes clean (I use a little comb to clean the her eye discharge) but when she rolls around alot (especially after her bath) and then she looks like Cruella DeVille!!

| I actually cut the hair right in between her eyes. I do this once a month. I tried letting it grow out and she looked too uncomfortable. I think that as long as you are willing to keep cutting it, it will be fine. Here's a few pictures. The rest of her hair is long, I just cut in between the eyes.
