| 10 week pup losing hair? Hi guys! I have a 10 week old pup named Violet. My parents adopted Violet's sister (2 days ago).. her name is Francis. Well, I took Violet over last night to have a little play date with Francis... and noticed that Francis looked a bit different than the last time I had seen her. She is losing the hair on her head. It does not appear to be itching her at all or anything. But her hair is much thinner than the first time I saw it. I'll try to get a picture tonight and post it. I am going to tell my mom to get her to the vet right away for a check (I know she's supposed to do this anyway). I did some searches on prior strings and see that other people have asked similar questions and that it is not normal. any insights you guys have would be great , based on your knowledge. thanks very much!! | Cheryl, the hair turns white on top of the head for awhile often; and it appears to be falling out. If you look closely, it may be that her hair is just very fine and white on her head. I wouldn't panic just yet; but a vet check is never a bad idea.
