| question for you guys What would you say the average weight for your babies are?? Millen is going to be average or larger. The vet said he will weigh around 7 pounds. My friends have one that is 2 years old and he is 5 lbs and other friends of ours have one that is 3 lbs and she is 1 year old. I am just curious how different the sizes are and is Millen going to be a GIANT compared to others?? I like his size...with us having Madie I would be scared if he was any smaller. hugs, dawn~

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | AKC standard is 4-7 lbs. My Stedman is 4 lbs and is a year and 1/2 old. We are trying to put some weight on him though as he is a little on the skinny side. My Tatum is almost 9 months and we are HOPING that she will get to 3 lbs (I think she might!!! ) being that she is SUCH a lil' pig I just don't want her to be OVERWEIGHT as she is very, very tiny in size.

| Lacy is 7lbs. I saw a show yorkie at the Houston AKC show that looked to be the same size as her. He was 9 months and 6.5lbs. Most of the other yorkies I saw in the show looked smaller and to be around 5lbs and even saw one that looked pretty tiny compared to all the others and she was 4lbs. My parents have a yorkie who is probably about 5.5lbs (he may be 6lbs because he's a little chunky). My boss has two yorkies - one is 3lbs and one is 3.8lbs. So yorkies really do come in all sizes. I even saw one once that was 22lbs! AKC standard is up to 7lbs but being bigger than that doesn't make them less than a yorkie - just too big to be shown and bred.
