| Biddy is SO skinny! Biddy is all ribs. You can feel her spine on her back. She's a year and a half and still eats puppy food. She eats a can of wet food a day and I leave the dry out all day and she nibbles at it during the day. What else can I do to fatten her up?!?! ( I wish I had this problem!! )

| Oh Simon is the same way! He is so high energy I have a hard time keeping weight on him. (I'm with ya, wish I had that problem) My vet recommended giving him Nutri-Cal even though is one and a half. I'm interested to see if anyone else has this problem too..... |

| That is odd. Do you think any other pets are eating her food? Our other dog and cat are great at sneaking and eating Mya's puppy food. We feed Mya on our bed now *eyeroll* we can watch her eat and hand feed her if she is acting fussy.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That's cute - but I think she's just built frail or small framed - Cheri is like that and I always call her a weiner dog but in reality she is the right weight for her body - Now it's when you CAN'T feel those ribs that you should worry - I think your baby's adorable ! |

Thank you! Yeah - she does look like a weiner dog (especially when she's wet!). The vet has never commented that she's too skinny, it just makes me nervous - I can almost wrap one hand completely around her belly!

| Oh, I think Biddy is beautiful! My Tucker is 10 weeks and he takes his food out one piece at a time and walks around chewing it, then goes back for another. I keep telling him he is working it off as fast as he is eating it! Our Lab on the other hand weighed 50 pounds when we got him at a year old and is now 65! He's a cow! I always think Tucker is too skinny but I guess I don't know what normal feels like!

| Maybe as she gets older her metabolism will slow down? I know mine has and I'm only 26!

| Gucci is not very thin, but you can feel her spine a bit. She eats her meat rolls and some of the dry kibble. I hope she gains some weight soon. Maybe I should start giving her Nutrical. She is 11 months. |
