| Long hair on ears and tail? I've been thinking about the different kinds of cutie-cute yorkie haircuts we see here all the time, compared to cuts you might see on other breeds, like say a Maltese. Has anyone ever seen a yorkie with short hair on the body, and long on legs, ears and tail?! Or something like this little sweetie! http://www.diamondjs.net/images/male...ntifather2.jpg What would that look like on a yorkie?!

| I have thought about letting the hair on the tail grow, but can't make up my mind yet. A yorkie might look cute with that cut.

| I think the weight of the hair on the ears will make the ears flop down - they won't stand up. That is kind of how I have Teddy cut - he is a maltese/yorkie mix. I think his ears could have gone either way, up or down, but I let the hair grow and they are floppy. If I trim the hair on the ears they are a little perkier - I'm interested to see what would happen if I shave the ears hmmm.... The yorkie standard is "up" ears so this cut may go against that by bringing the ears down w/the weight. |

I've kept them religiously shaved, but I think they're just going to flop! I've just started cutting her really short, which is adorable on her, but started wondering what she would look like if I grew out her ears....

| I think it'll actually look pretty cute on a yorkie- esp if her ears are ''floppy''! If you do decide to have that cut for your baby, please post pics as I sure am curious how she'll look.

| If her ears are down then I think it would be really cute - I'll have to find a good pic of Teddy to give you an idea even though he is mixed up haha |

| I think that looks like a calendar picture. The pups so darn cute. I guess it's a personal preference if you rather have the ears up or down. I like that pup just the way it is.

| My boys ears are floppy right now and I let the hair grow on his tail. I love the floppy ears on him and the hair on the tail is too cute. It's sort of puffy and then gets thin and curly.

| It kind of sounds like the snauzer cut that I do. I do trim the top 1/3 of their ears though. Here is Diesel with his snauzer cut. 1. body view 2. face view |
