My name is jeanne. I got my first yorkie in 1991...14 years ago and I was 38..so I guess that makes me fiftyish....

I got another in 1992 and last year got 2 babies whom I'm having a blast with..

(my older guys aren't having as much fun...

Hello, I'm Desiree and 37 yrs old, and have a 6yr old Yorkie, Willy.
I've had Willy since he was a tiny puppy. I cant even imagine my life without
my dear Willy, he is & has always been such a good boy.

I just turned 53 June 4th and glad for every year. I got my first yorkie 7 months ago and got the second one 6 months ago. I am thinking of getting another one sometime soon.

Hello! I am 52 and had my first yorkie when I was 16. I had other breeds(mixed) after that but always knew what my favorite breed was. For the past 21 years that is all I have owned is yorkies. Bo is 9yo and thanks to this website I have a new addition. His name is Scooter and he is 5 months old. Right now it is on a trial basis with Scooter but he has already stolen my heart and I have only had him since Sunday. I will get the pics this week of both.

I am in my 40's (and in denial). I have had my yorkie Rio for 3 yrs but have been a dog owner since I was 8, taking only one break for a few months.

Im 34 yrs old and I have Gucci since sept 2004. She is 10 months old now. Her birthday is July 10. I love her so much. She even sleeps with us in our bed. Everytime I go shopping I always get her something and my kids(12 yr old son and 4 yr old daugther) are not to happy about that. They said "what about me". Since my sister got her Yorkie, I wanted one of my own. We love so much Gucci that we want to adopt another Yorkie. I guess in the future when we get a house. We live in an Apt.

Hi, I'm 54 yo (yea, just a few more years until retirement!). I've had dogs all my live, but got my first yorkie 8 years ago. Rocky was 6 when we adopted him and the love of my life. I fell totally in love with the breed. After he passed away, I adopted a 12 yo silkie the next month. We only had the old gentleman 14 mo. before he passed away for diabetes complications. It was 18 months before I got Trevor... a Christmas present to myself from DH. I will always have a yorkie in my life.... I just love them to death!
