| dog tage shape.....opinions? Ok...I'm having a hard time deciding what shape I want.......A shiny silver bone, or circle??? What type of tags do your pups have? It should be fun getting him used to his collar. . . . . considering his harness has taken a beating lately... |

| Welcome To Yt!!! Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I think the little bone is cute, but could be more likely got get caught on things and choke him. I would recommend that you use a harness and attach his tags to his harness, then he wouldn't be at so much risk for getting hurt. You would be surprised what situations they can get into. Or you may want to use a cat collar the will come apart if he gets caught (a breakaway collar). Looking forward to hearing more from you and seeing pictures of your new puppy!

| dog tags My dog's had the bone shape tags, they rattled like crazy! I bought them small round ones from boomerangtags.com. I love them!

| dog tags P.S. My dog almost choked to death on a bone shaped tag. He got it caught in the heat register when he was lying down.

| We also have the round boomerang tags. The tiny stainless steel one is awesome. Those machines at the store just scratch the surface - these are DEEP grooves and they fit a lot on a tiny tag. Sammy's is like 1inch. It says her name, my name and phone number, REWARD, needs meds, microchipped.

| Izzie has a small pink bone shape and her getting the bone caught during the day in her xpen while I'm away is a huge concern of mine so she hasn't been wearing her collar that it is on when I'm not at home. But then I worry, what if something were to happen and she was to get loose...she needs to have some type of identification on her 24/7 so I just ordered (2) breakaway silk collars from Chattiesmom....I have one of her silk harnesses and it's wonderful....

| dog tags One thing I like about the boomerang tags is they last forever. You can read them easily, and the printing on them cannot wear down.
