| Advice on my customers... So I bring Bella with me to work everyday ( I own a tanning salon) and I bring the crate with me there, to continue the crate training. This weirdo guy that saw her one day when I had her out, was petting her and going gaga over her, which is fine, but.....everyday he comes in he asks where she is and I tell him in her crate and he gets upset that she is not out for him to pet and play with....I want to tell him that I do not bring her here to be a community pet, plus I am not sure if customers have their own pets, if they take care of them, if they have fleas, etc...mind you she has her up to date shots, has had her first month of Frontline Plus and also her first Heartgard but I get protective over her. There is a few customers that I will take Bella out for, because I am close to them but not everyone. Any idea on what I can tell this guy so that he stops asking and leaves her alone...mind you he is a bit of creepo. Thanks... Christina and Bella |

| I would simply say, i am crate training her, i can't take her out and risk her having an accident because it might mess up the training. Good luck!!

| Tell him that she has become fearful of strangers and has bitten them in the past. For HIS safety, and to prevent lawsuits, she is not able to be out of her crate when strangers are around.

| Why don't you tell him that she hasn't had all her shots and isn't really supposed to be socialized with other people just yet. I'm sure that could work..temporarily... good luck to you! This guy definately sounds super creepy!

| Thanks for the ideas....what bothers me the most is he tries to look behind my desk to see if he can see her. He is a complete weirdo..I thought this before I had her here and now that she is I have confirmed it. I would hate for him to try to come behind my desk if I was not up there...I want to just say leave her alone! |

| I would just say something like, I am working on training her. And if I always bring her out, she will never want to be in her crate. Good luck! |

| I don't want to scare you or freak you out..but after reading a few threads on here about yorkies stolen from our members it makes me think this guy is pretty suspicious (in addition to being weird). Is it possible to take your fur-baby with you when you go to the back of your store? I'd hate for anything bad to happen...but....it's better to be safe than sorry right?

| He just sounds like a wierdo. Hold your ground and say she is sick and that's why she has to be with you. Don't feel bad!

| I tell some of the kids in the neighborhood Baxter bites lol - I'm afraid someone is going to step on him when I have him out front - They all just say hi - but stay away. |
