| I know it is a bit of a cop-out...but Tino's birthday is July 4th...so it is usually a built-in party day for him. I always order a birthday cake and we have a cook out at our Lake House. We usually have a bunch of guests since many people have off for the 4th and everyone has a lot of fun! But, for the record...if it wasn't on the 4th, I'd still throw him a party and we threw our little girl a party for her 1st birthday this past March!

| We had first bday for Gracie. I had a cake made for humans. Gracie had treats. My family brought her gifts. We cooked out. We had a good time. She will be one tomorrow. We now have Hallee and her BDay is August so we are waiting to celebrate both BDays in August. Already bought one of their gifts. We are doing dog bone cake if I can find a pan. I looked this weekend at Hobby Lobby and they did not have any. We have a party place I am going to check.

| Okay-this will be a repeat, so bear with me if you read my post before-when Lillybelle turned one-I bought doggy cookies and made a "people cake" to match the cookies and surrounded the cake with the cookies so it looked like it was made together...so we had cake for the people and cookies for the dogs. We had people and dogs for her party--here are a few photos below. I think your idea of a party in the park is a super idea---we did get crowded inside. |
