| [News] Plastic Surgery for Dogs! Wow, CRAZY! Ya think it'd work for Sharpeis? --- A veterinary surgeon in Rio de Janeiro is offering plastic surgery and Botox injections for dogs. Wrinkle-reductions, eyebrow-corrections, ear-straightening and full face-lifts are among the procedures available. "We all like to talk to someone who looks good. It is the same for dogs," said Dr. Edgard Brito. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/040820/344/f0sd6.html |

| I have also heard of braces for dogs. A vet mentioned them to me for Bentley but his bite is pretty near perfect...maybe he thought I was going to show him? Now Mia has a little underbite but she's perfect to me!

| Even though that plastic surgery seems over the top, listen to this: PetNation was a special feature on how we spoil our pets. It was on Dateline NBC. Anyway, one vet mentioned that people come to him asking for plastic surgery for their pets. He would not do the procedures unless it was for health reasons, but anyways, he mentioned that a new popular procedure was inserting "neuticals" People who got there dogs neutered were embarrassed and they thought there dog was too because he didn't have any testicles. So, they wanted to get neuticals aka fake testicles put in. And most people asked for one size bigger than the dog's original testicles! LOL! I thought that was outrageous! |
