Yorkies first season Hi, this is my first post, so please be gentle with me My yorkie is now 5 mths old, none of her teeth have fallen out yet, and im expecting her to come into season soon. I have heard that smaller dogs can come into season earlier than bigger dogs. Just wondered how old yours were when they had their first season. Thanks Tina

Welcome to YT!! Adina is 7 months old and weighs 3.11 lbs, and she has not gone into season. I was told they usually do go into season some time after 9 months old?? So your lil' girl has some way to go. Maybe her teeth have already begun to fall you just haven't noticed. My chi which is also 5 months old and weighs 2.4 lbs lost hers and the only way I found out is because I found a lil tooth lol. Myra

Hi Tina, I'm new also. Whimsey went into heat at 9 months. At one year all of her baby teeth had fallen out except for one. Thank goodness it also fell out shortly after. We we lucky that we didn't have to have it removed at the vet.
