| A Question and something funny!! So I went to Petsmart today and bought my boys Royal Canine. This is the first time they've had it, ever! They seem to likeit a lot (although they usually are excited to eat a new food for the first time) but they seem to be drinking an awful lot of water! Does anyone else who uses royal canine notice this? So I wanted to buy an interactive toy for them, but the store had nothing really... but in the cat section they had a futuristic mouse. Its on batteries and when the dogs touch it, its eyes flash green and it says "na na nanana" and then it moves across the floor all around in crazy circles and stuff! Then laughs maniacally! Well the dogs are BESIDE themselves! Its sooooo funny!!! They have NO idea what to make of this thing! They barked at it non-stop for awhile and then one of the dogs kept picking it up by the tail and trying to beat it up! Now they are laying at my feet and keeping a VERY close eye on it .. ya know, just in case!!! Its sooooo funny!!!!

| That sounds so funny. I'll have to get one for Penny & Piper. I think they'd enjoy it too.

| We give our babies Royal Canin and they do seem to take in more water than when we have them on any other dry mix. We got a windup mouse fo them two and they just constantly pounce on it and want to kill it!!. They even know the sound of it when you pull the cord and go mental for it. Its hilarious.

| Mine are on Royal Canine, and since it's the only thing they've ever had, I don't know if they drink MORE water than the would on other dry foods, but the do drink a lot of water. The mouse story is too funny. I'll have to check into one. |

| So I guess I now have a new toy to buy for Slade. I was playing with a wind up car yesterday and he was "stalking" it then pouncing on it. I bet he would love the toy you posted about!

| Protein content of Royal Canin tooo high! For all the YT's who would like to do research on Royal Canin food. Please see the comments about too high protein! Yorkies can not handle the high content of protein, and will have liver/ kidney complications, as they can not process it. This is a very important note to yorkie owners!
