| Yorkie vs. Husband This is funny.........how many of you had to 'talk your significant other' into letting you get a yorkie and THEN, they take them over ?????? My husband informed me tonight that Nikki is his !!!!! Oh brother! Men, how little they really know!!! |

| Ohhhh.....It was the opposite here. Teddy was bought and picked out by my hubby to be his new little buddy. Teddy though decided that the life of a Mama's boy looked more appealing to him. It wasn't suppose to end up this way but I am not complaining because he is the absolute light of my life!

| Oh yeah......I relate! I worked on Don The Dog Hater sooooo hard to get a puppy. Then he and Higgins became soooooo bonded that Don calls him "son." They are so cute together. The neat thing is that Higgins is VERY careful to give us EQUAL attention. Higgy wants us BOTH to give him lots of attention, too. Just yesterday we were playing frisbee with him and he made sure that when he caught it, he would bring it to me for praise, then take it to "Dad" to toss it again. He is the center of our lives....out little kid..... |

| I worked on my husband Craig for months to get another puppy. We already had 2 dogs then and Cocker and a Beagle. Well the Cocker had to be put down in March. He was 13 years old. Then it was like no problem getting another dog. He even drove a 7 hour drive to go pick him up and now Starsky gets to sleep with us. Craig misses him if he isn't there. It is hilarious how men can change their tune. Before there was a limit to how many dogs we can have. We were lucky to keep one, I have two dogs and now I am talking about getting a little girl yorkie and he has no qualms about that!

| I know exactly what you mean My husband didnt want another dod, said one was enough. I talked him into it said if he wanted his motorcycle than I was going to get my new baby. I even talked him into driving 61/2 hours to get(of course he complained the 61/2 hours). Now he says Hi to Rascal first thing when he comes home, has Rascal sleeping next to him in the bed and has informed me that Rascal is his dog now not mine. lol. It is so cute how he is with Rascal. What little he knows, Rascal is a mamas boy 100%. |

| My hubby had never liked dogs, especially little yappy ones. He forbid me to get my yorkie even before we were married. When my father passed away, I think he wanted to cheer me up, so he began doing a little research. He took me to get my baby for my birthday. We ended up picking two. When he gets home from work, he jumps down on the floor with them before he kisses me! He threatens me that if I ever leave him, he keeps the kids. HA!

I waited THREE years for Chanel - then hubby wanted another - they are BOTH my girls and he's kind of wishing one of them would be his baby - He said they only come around him when he's BBQ'ing | |

Maggie is Daddy's Little Princess and has a shirt that says so. My husband is a rancher and he believes that his Australian Cattle Dogs are REAL DOGS---that is until Maggie stole his heart. When I ask him if he can babysit, he jumps at the chance. So cute to see this 6ft.2in. man take Maggie for a walk.
